Charity fund raising has gotten tougher over the past 12 months. We are forced to find innovative ways to compensate for the fewer and smaller donations we receive. One of the most profitable for any charity is to do it with gold.
Organizations with regular meetings such as churches and temples can raise funds more easily than a PTA bake sale or car wash. The reason is that a bake sale or car wash is a one or two day event.
If you are willing to take the initiative and do most of the legwork, you will reap the maximum profit.
There are 2 types of Gold Fund Raisers that you can do in conjunction with Omega Precious Metals.
#1 If members of you group, church or temple are willing to donate even the smallest piece of unwanted or broken gold jewelry to your cause, you have hit a home run. A lightweight charm or ring can be worth $50 and it is clearly an item that the donor will not miss. Whether you collect these items at a weekly meeting or by going door to door (with prior notice), this is clearly how you will benefit most from the program. Once the items have all been collected, contact Omega. We will advise you how to proceed. The transaction can be concluded either face to face or through the mail. We prefer dealing face to face, however sometimes geographical constraints eliminate that possibility. Certainly if you are located on Long Island or nearby, it makes it that much easier and quicker.
#2 You may choose to simply host a gold buying party whereby your organization earned a 10% commission on each transaction. To do so, contact Omega to arrange for a date and time for your party. Tell us where you would like to have it. This could be a local meeting hall such as a Knights of Columbus or a community center or parish hall. Once a date, time and location are set, it's time to get the word out! That could mean announcements in church bulletins, announcements at PTA meetings, flyers given to students to take home or anything else you think will work. On every transaction that Omega completes, your organization will receive a 10% commission. So if Omega writes a total of $20,000 worth of checks, your group earns $2,000.
Both ways involve little work on your part and potentially grand results. One of the things that must be conveyed to anyone who donates or comes to your gold party is that Omega is a professional corporation. We have worked with numerous government organizations and are highly regarded in the rare coin and precious metals industries. We did not just pop up over night as so many "gold buyers" over the past six months. Omega was founded in 1995. Feel free to read about us on this website. We strive to provide the best service and prices, and therefore the best results for you and your organization.
Feel free to call us to discuss your organization's needs and to see how we can help you achieve your goals.
